Hidaya Foundation Trust has a history of assisting rural schools in preparing for public examinations by bringing in education experts, teachers and retired educationists to them. Also, school book distribution, tuition fees support and building construction costs are born by the Trust on need basis, in targeted areas.

Parallely the Trust has a vision to establish an english medium school of its own, land for which is procured in Munshirhat area of Howrah District, West Bengal. The area of the land is 2 Acre and 19 Decimals. The school shall be affiliated to the ICSE or CBSE Board and will nurture students belonging to economically weaker sections of the society -paying zero fees, as well as those from the affluent sections, who shall pay the full fees.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Hidaya Foundation Trust believes in supporting all talented youngsters achieve the best of their talents, irrespective of their economic capabilities.

We run a number of annual scholarship distribution schemes, where talented youngsters from rural backgrounds are provided with a monetary grant for their educational excellence, so that they can study more.

CIVIL SERVICES TRAINING CENTRE

Hidaya Foundation Trust intends to provide proper training to graduates from all backgrounds at its proposed Development Centre in Nibra, Howrah, so that they can succeed in cracking the prestigious civil services examinations of the state and the country.

Eminent scholars, ex civil servants, personality coaches have already been identified, who can mentor the students.

An 8,600 sq ft (about 800 sq m) building is planned to be constructed, located on the National Highway in Nibra, Howrah, for this purpose. This building will also house a full fledged skill development centre - comprising of community training centre and seminar/workshop/women empowerment programme halls. This will be a dedicated destination acting as a single window service centre and awareness point for several Government of West Bengal projects like Kanyashree, Sikshashree, Yuvasree, Sabuj Shree, Khadya Sathi, Sabooj Sathi, Swasthya Sathi, etc

Deeniyat

Deeniyat is one of the largest moral education platforms of India.

Its religious educational curriculum consists of ethical teachings from the Hadees of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), language training and guidance on daily practices.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT

As Hidaya Foundation Trust is based out of Howrah and it is one of the centres of textile industry in the country, we are focused towards enriching the skills of the local populace in developing more in this industry.

The Branch Office of Hidaya Foundation Trust, at Ankurhati Checkpost, Howrah is an ownership flat of about 1200 sq foot size and is the and is dedicated to the skill development cell. From here, several training programmes are conducted for both men and women.

Regular skills training campaigns are held where local labours skilled in “zari” work are given trainings on best in class machines. Also, Hidaya Foundation Trust is partnered with the Howrah Garments Manufacturing Association in skill development related to sales and accounting of their activities. Howrah Garments Manufacturing Association  is a one of the largest of such bodies present in India.

HAJJ TRAINING

Hajj is one of the 5 pillars of Islam. Hence education and knowledge about it is mandatory for all those attempting this pilgrimage.

Hidaya Foundation Trust  conducts annual camps for men and women, before the Hajj Pilgrims’ departure, to train them on the etiquettes, norms and need of this experience, all across the state, in collaboration with the West Bengal State Haj Committee.

Hidaya Foundation Trust  forms a group of volunteers, both boys and girls, in order to help, guide and take proper care of the Haj pilgrims at the district(s) and assist them at  the Calcutta Airport for their journey.
